题目性质：自编仿真题——题目、材料、选项、数据与情境均为按课程标准与联招常见考点独立编写的原创仿真题，非真题原文，未取自任何题库、教辅或试卷；解析与采分点为教研整理，非官方评分标准。
一、考点定位与做题顺序
比较结构空先判四类：同级（as + 原级 + as，中间绝不能用比较级）、差级（more/less + 比较级 + than）、倍数（倍数 + as…as／倍数 + the + 名词 + of／倍数 + 比较级 + than）、递进（the + 比较级…, the + 比较级…＝「越…越…」）。再核搭配是否成套：见了 as 要找后一个 as，见了 than 要找比较级。
倍数给一组自编示意数据回验：甲馆 12.0 万册、乙馆 4.00 万册，12.0/4.00 = 3，故「甲是乙的三倍」可写 three times as large as / three times the size of；three times more than 在部分用法里被理解成「多三倍＝四倍」，易生歧义，正式表述优先避开。下面短文与数据均为自编示意，不代表真实统计。

(1) A (three times) / (2) A (as large as)。 12.0 万 ÷ 4.00 万 = 3，用 three times as large as：倍数词 three times 放 as…as 之前，中间必须用原级 large。as larger as 错（原级位置放比较级），larger than 只表「更大」不含倍数，so large as 多用于否定句且不与倍数词这样搭配。(3) A (as tall as)。 not as + 原级 + as＝「不如…那样高」；as taller as、taller as 搭配不成套。
(4) B (more) / (5) B (than)。 more guides than B did：差级比较，比较级 more 与 than 成套；as many…as 是同级，与句意「借出更多」不符；D 项 three times 放在这里没有对应 as…as 结构。
(6) A (The more) / (7) A (the fewer)。 The + 比较级…, the + 比较级…＝「越…越…」：The more carefully…, the fewer mistakes…。前半必须有 The，后半也必须 the + 比较级；mistakes 是可数复数故用 fewer 不用 less。
(8) B (far)。 far clearer than：far 修饰比较级表「…得多」；very 不修饰比较级，more clearer 双重比较级，as 与后面的 than 不配套。

易错点 写成 as larger as / as taller as；把 three times 写成 three time 或 third times；more…as 或 as…than 混搭；(6)(7) 漏 The 或漏 the；mistakes 用 less；用 very / more 修饰比较级；把 three times more than 无保留地当成「正好三倍」。

题2 改错与倍数改写
(1) 下面三句各有一处比较结构使用不当，请改正并说明理由：
① A's collection was three times as larger as B's.
② More carefully the staff labelled the shelves, fewer mistakes readers made.
③ The new catalogue was very clearer than the old one, and it listed less mistakes.
(2) 把「A's collection was three times as large as B's」改写成不改变事实、且不用 as…as 的两种说法；并用 12.0 万 / 4.00 万册回验倍数。另说明「three times more than B's」为什么在本语篇里不宜采用。

(2) 说法一：A's collection was three times the size of B's.（倍数 + the + 名词 + of。）
说法二：A held three times as many books as B. 若仍需不用 as…as，可写 A held three times the number of books that B held. 或 A held 120,000 books, three times B's 40,000.
倍数回验：12.0 万 ÷ 4.00 万 = 3.00，三种句式都指向「甲是乙的三倍」；若写成 twice as large as 就得是 8.00 万册，与数据不符，可用这句作反证。
为什么不宜用 three times more than B's：该式在部分读法里被理解为「比乙多三倍」＝乙的 4 倍（4.00 万 × 4 = 16.0 万册），与题给 12.0 万册不等；另一些读法才把它当「三倍」。同一句话有两种口径，作为正式说明会引发歧义，本语篇一律避开，优先用 three times as large as 或 three times the size of——把倍数落在「是…的几倍」而不是「比…多几倍」上。

易错点 ① 只改倍数词不改词形；② 只补后半 The；(2) 写成 three times larger than 又落入歧义；把 12.0/4.00 算成 2.5 或 4；忘记说明正式表述应把倍数落在「是…的几倍」；漏「mistakes 可数」这一 fewer 的依据。

比较结构空先判四类再核成套：as…as 中间只放原级，more 必配 than，「越…越…」前后都要 The + 比较级，fewer 管可数复数，far/much 才修饰比较级。倍数优先写「是…的几倍」（three times as large as / three times the size of），别用可能被读成「多三倍＝四倍」的 three times more than——拿 12.0 万 ÷ 4.00 万 = 3 一验就清楚。两馆册数均为自编示意，不代表真实统计。
