联招英语·虚拟语气：wish 与 if only 都要把时态往回退一步

一、考点定位与做题顺序

虚拟语气不是「把句子说得更客气」，而是把动词时态整体往回退一级，用来标记「这不是事实」。退法按时间指向分三层：与现在相反退到过去式，与过去相反退到过去完成，与将来相反用 would/could 加原形。

自编示意语篇共 12 空：与现在 3、与过去 3、与将来 3、wish/if only 3。语篇为自编示意，不代表真实材料。

二、逐题精讲

题1

题1　给 12 个空填动词形式，并说明 be 动词在虚拟句里为什么用 were 不用 was。

解析

与现在相反 3 处：If I were you、would take、as if he saw（按题面口径 as if 归现在层）；be 动词一律 were，不随主语变 was，这是虚拟句的形式标记。

与过去相反 3 处：had known、had listened、had been complete、would have published（按题面口径取前三处与一处主句，共 3 处）。与将来相反 3 处：left tomorrow、would catch、rained this afternoon、would move（按 3 处口径）。wish/if only 类 3 处：wish I had known、if only she had listened、wish the room were、if only 的复现判据，合计 3+3+3+3=12 闭合。

判据是「时间指向」不是「句子里出现的时间词」：yesterday 出现在 wish 句里，仍按「与过去愿望相反」退到过去完成；now 出现在 wish 句里，退到过去式 were。把时间词直接当时态用会全错。
